Man, sometimes it sucks being in KY. As usual, all the phone lines were jammed so I couldn't call her back. I did look up on the internet the magnitude of the earthquake - it was a 5.4 (originally registered as 5.8). (link here)
I finally got through and all is well at the Condon home in Redondo Beach. Phew! Thank goodness for sand.
Glad all the family I've been able to contact is well.
