Hoe Hoe Hoe and Fat Cat

David's been out in the back acre trying out a gardening experiment. He's killed a big rectangle of grass and planted corn. The dead grass is supposed to do something and newspapers will be added later which is supposed to do something else - all in the hope of growing about 500 ears of corn. He's been pretty successful with container gardening so far, so with any luck we'll have at least some corn. If nothing else, we'll have a story to tell.



Gus the Cat likes it when David is out on the deck gardening, as it means dog-free naps and freshly picked catnip leaves! David pretends like the cats are a bother, yet he's growing three prolific catnip bushes for Gussy.
